We were delighted to welcome Devon Drums to The Old Vicarage for the very first time, treating our residents to a lively and engaging afternoon filled with music, rhythm and laughter.
The interactive care home activity gave residents the opportunity to explore a variety of instruments, different rhythms and enjoy music together. From gentle beats to energetic drumming, everyone was encouraged to join in at their own pace, creating a fun and inclusive experience for all.
Music-based activities are a wonderful way to support wellbeing in residential care, helping to encourage social interaction, boost confidence and create joyful shared moments. Seeing our residents smiling, laughing and embracing something new made the afternoon truly special.
