Senior Care Assistant

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will lead by example, guide and support care staff, assist with care planning, and ensure safe medication administration, while promoting a comfortable, respectful, and well-managed environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the training and supervision of care staff.
- Deliver and oversee person-centred care, including personal care and mobility support.
- Administer medication in line with policies and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in developing and updating care plans.
- Ensure a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures.
- Support residents’ wellbeing through daily activities and engagement.
- Work closely with the team to maintain smooth day-to-day operations, including supporting catering and housekeeping where needed.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care role, with leadership or senior responsibilities preferred
- Compassionate, organised, and team-oriented approach
- Good understanding of care standards, safeguarding, and medication procedures
- Willingness to lead, support, and develop others
